I can see the photos you just posted. I've got a few questions to help figure out what's going on with Lincoln.
Is the tank cycled, and if so, how did you do it?
Also, does the tank have a filter?
Does it have a heater, and what's the temperature set to?
How much water do you change, and how often do you do it?
What kind of water conditioner are you using?
What else is in the tank, apart from Lincoln - just fake plants, or live plants too?
What's Lincoln's diet like?
How much food does he get, and how often do you feed him?

I've had my fin_tank Lincoln for two weeks now, got him two weeks ago today. I upgraded him from a 1.3 gallon to a 5 gallon heated and filtered tank last Sunday. Lately I noticed his fin's looking pretty beat up, so I swapped out his plastic plants for silk ones and removed his decorations - thought maybe they were causing the damage. Not sure if it's fin rot, but the ends of his fins aren't black or red. Lincoln mostly swims along the bottom of the tank, and his fins do get pretty close to the gravel sometimes. Had his water checked on Tuesday and it's fine - I also picked up an ammonia kit today and there's no ammonia in his tank. Ran the other tests too, and his nitrates are zero, pH is fine, not alkaline.
I don't think that's fin rot, to be honest. Some betta fish just have fins like that.

I'll answer your questions:
My tank wasn't cycled before I put Lincoln in, I know that was wrong. I've been doing daily water changes and testing the water since Saturday to keep everything in check. I've got the API ammonia test and it's always been 0ppm. I also had the Tetra test strips but I was told they're not accurate, so I ordered the API master kit which should arrive today.
My tank has a filter, and it's also got an automatic heater set to 78 degrees. Right now the tank's at 80 degrees because it's warm in my house.
I change 1 gallon of water daily in his 5-gallon tank, starting from Saturday. I use Nutrafin Betta Plus as my water conditioner.
I've got silk plants in the tank now, and I took out the plastic ones and a rock decoration. I feed Lincoln Aqueon Beta food, 3-4 pellets twice a day.
