Yeah, the colour stays the same, might even get a bit more blue on the fins. I see what you mean about the rocks, but I just used what I had. I do like it, but adding some darker rocks might be a good idea.

They took a bit to settle, but once they did, they were all over the tank. I'd love for mine to do the same, but they're great to watch as they are. They're real characters, mate. I was gonna go with Daffodils, but I saw these in a shop and just fell in love - they were the last three, too.

Mine were settled in no time. If they do breed, you'll be needing a separate grow-out tank, trust me. They breed in massive numbers, it's crazy.

yeah, they keep the same color, might get a bit more blue on the fins. i see what you mean about the rocks, but they're just ones i had lying around. might add a few dark ones though.

took them a while to settle in? i'd love for mine to swim all levels, they're so entertaining to watch. was gonna get daffodils, but then i saw these in a shop and fell in love. they were the last three, so it was meant to be. cheers for the link, already had it open.

adding more dark rocks is a good idea, should set off the colors.

by the hundred, you're kidding! i've got a 60L setup ready for them, but if they breed, i'll need a few more tanks, won't i?

got a question for you lot, anyone had these fish before ?

when i feed brineshrimp or bloodworm they dont eat it all and its just lying about, no other fish to give it to so was thinking of adding a bottom feeder just temporarily till they breed or not, who knows ?

I've gotta say, finding a bottom feeder that fits your tank can be tricky, especially since cories prefer acidic water. Synodontis multipunctatus or petricola could work well, but keep in mind they might see your babies as a snack, so it's a gamble. If you're not set on adding another fish, just try feeding less and see how that goes.
