Looking for smaller saltwater livebearers that can thrive in a 55gal tank, excluding the bigger fish like sharks and rays. I'm aware of seahorses, but what else is out there? I know neptunes and mollies can tolerate saltwater, but I'm curious about other smaller livebearer options.
Their eating habits are somewhat of a mystery, as they tend to be elusive, but standard marine foods - like frozen or flake - seem to work just fine. As for care, they're not particularly demanding, but I couldn't find any reliable info on breeding them in an aquarium. Finding them in the trade might be a challenge, and even in a well-suited tank, you'll likely go without seeing them most of the time.
