I had a similar experience years ago with a male mbuna that looked like your female. Here's a pic of him, still no idea what he was. Body shape and face were different, so I'm not convinced she's a cobalt either. She might be a hybrid like my male, but if you're set on keeping her and the fry, go for it, just don't sell them as others have mentioned.

I'm definitely keeping the fry for my own collection, I have no intention of selling them. I do plan on breeding and selling in the future, but that's not on my agenda right now.
