I had a pretty rough experience with a crypt I bought on Zorchzon. By the time it arrived, it was already loose in the rockwool holder - the cold weather didn't help, I'm sure. The package was cold to the touch, but I tried planting it anyway, hoping for the best. Initially, I thought the leaves dying off was just a case of crypt melt, but it turned out the plant was actually dead. It took a couple of weeks for me to come to that realization - it was deader than a plate of fried chicken. I'm pretty sure the temperature during shipping was the culprit, but that experience has put me off buying live plants on Zorchzon for good. I'll still buy other stuff online, but when it comes to living things, I'm more cautious now.

When issues have arisen, which is rare, the sellers have always been responsive and helpful. I've never had a truly disappointing experience with an Etsy plant purchase.
I've noticed some vendors, like Marcus' Fish Tanks, also sell on Amazon. If you know who you're buying from, it's usually fine. The problem probably arises when you're purchasing from random vendors. I learned that the hard way after wasting $55.30 on DOA plants.

Make sure to check the vendor's DOA policy before making a purchase, it's crucial.

No snails or weird stuff on them, which is a huge plus. I've had some of these plants for 4 years now and they're still thriving, really prolific. I'm actually ordering from them again right now.
I've had great experiences with Marcus Fish Tanks, they're my go-to for plants. I'll probably just stick with buying from them on Etsy since it's so easy to communicate with the vendors there.

I've had numerous purchases from Aquarium Co-op over the years and the quality of their plants has consistently been top-notch, along with their pricing. Their packing methods for shipment are exceptional, and it shows in the condition the plants arrive in. After reading through their reviews, it's clear that many others have had similarly positive experiences with them.
