Stu, it looks like Sifto pool salt is just sodium chloride. The company that makes it also produces culinary grade salt. I found this info on their website:

Sifto Pool Salt is designed for pools, but it seems to be just plain salt. It's got some extra features like a natural stain fighter and quick-dissolving crystals, but that's not what you're looking for.

I think for the rare times you might use salt as a medication, kosher salt would be a better choice.

My answer would be no. I'm not too sure about pool salt, but I do know table salt has iodine, which isn't good for aquariums. I stick to aquarium salt from the pet store, if I ever need it. To be honest, I don't add salt to my tank. I tried following the label once, but my discus stopped eating, hid all the time, and got spooked easily. Stopped the salt, did a good water change, and they recovered quickly.
