Yeah it arrived but got sent back on the same day, quality just wasn't there to be honest. I'd opted for an imported one, not sure if I should mention the brand, but it didn't feel like it was worth the money I'd paid. The glass tank wasn't well finished and I had to send it back. I've put the order on hold for now, moving again later this year so it's not a priority.

To be honest, I've been reading up a lot on peacock and hap tank sizes, and 4ft seems a bit small for most setups. Slyzen mentioned that 5ft or more opens up more possibilities, and he knows his stuff when it comes to malawis. For now, I'm just going to see how my current tank grows and colours, and then decide what to do next. I've got some new additions and a new background, so I'll update my thread soon.

Looking forward to seeing how your tank is coming along, especially with the mbuna and peacock mix. Any issues so far?

they are all getting along so far with only a couple skirmishes, the dominant peacock stayed behind the ocean rock wall for a while with only glimses every now and then with the sub dom free swimming keeping out the dominant's way, after 2-3 days the dominant has starting to feed but will only take sinking pellets not the floating ones and is being at the front of the tank more

renting in london is a nightmare, i feel you. have you thought of a acrylic tank? there is a guy on ebay advertising them, biggest one he can make is a 6ft x 3.5ft, probably would have to make your own stand but could work out cheaper in the long run.
