Yeah Tom, got the scratch remover kit. Heard great things about it, should do the trick. Used it on a mate's tank, worked wonders for shallow scratches with a bit of elbow grease.
Busy day today :).

Love the story Tom, it's like looking back at my own early days of tank obsession. I'm no expert, but I think you're a lost cause - too far gone to be saved now.
Glad I enjoyed the post for more than just the laughs, though - I picked up a new resource for scoring used gear. I've been on Craigslist forever, but Letgo was a new one for me. Checked it out, and it's not bad at all. Thanks for the tip, Tom.

Congrats to you too, Tom. Hans' leopards and checkerboards are stunning. I'm a fan myself, got a few of those at home.

I was wondering, are German Wonders and Mosaic Turks essentially the same discus? They seem pretty similar to me.

Yeah, I grabbed the Novus scratch remover kit. Checked out a DIY video, got the sandpaper, gave it a shot on the stand. Now just waiting for the Novus to arrive.
Letgo's pretty handy, by the way.
As for the German Wonder, I don't know, peewee - too many names floating around for the same fish.
