My dude, I've had the same prob. Tried methylene blue last week, eggs looked chill. Tank's 60 gallons, canister filter, temp at 83F. Also, feed the pair beef heart before spawning, boosts their health.

Beef heart's messy though. I use frozen bloodworms, less gunk in the tank. My pair's in a 50 gallon, HOB filter, spawns every month. Still get some fungus, but less with methylene blue.

Never tried methylene blue. My tank's 55 gallons, planted, temp at 82F. Eggs always get fuzzy. Gonna order some today. How often do you guys spawn your pairs?

Methylene blue is effective, but ensure proper dosage. Overdosing can harm the eggs. My setup is a 70 gallon, sponge filter, temp at 84F. Regular water changes are crucial, as mentioned earlier.
