Guppy lifespan concerns
My guppies keep dying within a few months, even though the water params seem fine. I have a 20-gallon tank with a sponge filter, temp at 78°F, and do weekly 25% water changes. Any ideas what's going wrong?

Do you have a picture of her, I'd love to see it. There's a possibility she might be a male plakat, I've seen some females with similar characteristics but the fins and body shape would give it away.

I get it now, I would have just said it's a butterfly with a purple or red base. I'm curious, where did the term 'salamander' actually originate from?

I've been trying to figure this out, but I just can't seem to get my head around it - what actually makes a betta a 'salamander type' betta?
