Re: help, my friend's betta is rotting
I finally managed to get a photo of the fish. It's actually quite impressive that it had the strength to swim up to her hand from the bottom of the tank. The photo shows the rot near the tail pretty clearly. Does anyone have any thoughts on what to do next?

help, my friend's betta is rotting
It's about 4 years old, I think, and it's got some rot near the tail. It's somehow managed to build back enough strength to swim, so it's not a case of dead muscles or tissue. Re: Is buying plants online a good idea?
I've had an amazing experience with marcusfishtanks.com. The plants arrived quickly and were super healthy - nice and green. No snails or weird stuff on them, which is a huge plus. I've had some of these plants for 4 years now and they're still thriving, really prolific. I'm actually ordering from ...

Re: A new pet betta
The water will be well-oxygenated, thanks to aeration and filtration.

A new pet betta
Hey everyone,
I'm setting up a new 25-gallon tank for my betta and I want to make sure I'm giving it the best life possible. I've got some questions to help me make that happen.
Food-wise:
What are some top-notch flake options out there?
Are there any pellet options that really stand out?

Re: Why is my duckweed dying?
That's Salvina minima. I've got duckweed down to a science - I actually grow it in bleach, it's super resilient. But Salvina minima? No idea, it's a mystery to me.
