I'd avoid hang-on-back filters for small tanks. They create too much current. Sponge filters are the way to go, and they're cheap too. Heater-wise, go for adjustable ones, not preset.

yeah i thought that too but they dont really match the fuelleborni i've seen in maidenhead

does anyone else have any experience with fish breeding?

just got a pair of fish that bred in my tank, and i know they weren't listed as such in the shop. i've put up a little video of them mating too - they were listed as fuelleborni, but i guess that was wrong.

Cheers mate, I was thinkin' the same, Johanni, but these ones are more on the reddy/orange side rather than yellow, know what I mean?

anybody got any ideas on these little guys?

i still dont know what they are - they're more orange than yellow...anyone got any ideas? i've got 10 of them, but a couple are developing dark stripes, although they're pretty faded - i'm wondering if these are males starting to colour up?

i picked up a few of these as johannii when they were tiny, now they're about 3 inches - any ideas on what they are now?
