Re: Natural daylight vs. artificial light for Bettas
Thanks for the input, everyone. My tank's a 10-gallon, sits about 3 feet from a south-facing window. I'll probably start with partial daylight and see how it goes.

Natural daylight vs. artificial light for Bettas
Been thinking about switching my tank to natural daylight instead of the LED setup I've got. Anyone tried this? Worried about algae blooms but love the idea of saving on electricity.

Re: information on the panther grouper
I think you're a bit on the chilly side, but you should be alright, but fluxx? Also, hopefully you've got a massive tank, we're talking 150-300 gallons, 'cause these fish get huge and need loads of space to be happy.

Re: Hammer coral care and feeding
I don't think you've got anything to worry about, honestly. It took mine a couple of weeks to fully acclimate and open up all the way. What you want to do is try to find a spot where it's gently swaying, you know, just waving a bit, and not being tossed around like crazy.

Re: Hammer coral care and feeding
I think it's pretty straightforward. One type of hammer coral grows upwards, branching out like the limbs of a tree. The other type grows horizontally, forming a wall-like structure.
