Thanks for the advice, everyone. I'll try adding some more plants and see if that helps. They've been in the tank about three weeks, so maybe they're still settling in.

Typical tetra behavior?

I've got a school of Neon Tetras in my 20 gallon tank, and they've been acting skittish lately. They dart around a lot, especially when I approach the tank. Is this normal behavior, or should I be worried? Water params are good, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrate, pH 6.8. Tankmates are just some ...

Thank y'all so much for the advice, it's super helpful. Since my food is only a month old, I'll go ahead and freeze the amounts I'm not using, that's a great tip. I've actually moved Honey to a 20 gal tank now so I can keep a closer eye on her eating habits, and I'm really grateful for y'all's help ...

I've got a crazy list of foods I feed her - I know, I know, I overdo it XD. So here's what I've got: Hikari's got a bunch of stuff I use - their Tropical Algae Wafers, Sinking Wafers, Spirulina Brine Shrimp, Shrimp Cuisine Pellets, and Vibra Bites.
