Your coral seems more vibrant than hers, hers looks kinda pale. What's your nitrate level? Both tanks look good though. Post the parameters for both tanks, curious to see the difference.

Got this acro a couple months back and I'm still waiting for it to take off. It looks healthy enough, I mean the polyps do extend at night and I'm seeing some blue tips when the blues are on. But what's got me confused is my buddy's got one from around the same time and it's just booming ...

A par meter will give you a better idea of how well your light's performing at different distances, might be the tank's layout or the light itself that's the issue.

What's your lighting setup like? You gotta break out the par meter and check those numbers.

I'm not claiming to have all the answers, but have you considered going down the invertebrate-only route? It could be a great way to keep things interesting and colourful, and you can always try introducing fish again down the line. Just make sure to choose a healthy one that hasn't been treated ...
