Tank size is 3.5 gallons. It's got a heater, temperature is around 78 degrees. Yes, it has a filter, and the current seems fine to me - my betta likes swimming through it. I'm not sure if the tank is cycled, I tried to cycle it but I'm not really sure what I'm doing.

10 ppm's fine for most LPS and softies. If you're not seeing algae outbreaks, you're golden. Just keep it consistent.

Nope, don't dose what you don't test. Iodine can crash a tank if you overdo it. Stick to water changes for now.

You can save a ton by mixing your own saltwater instead of buying premade. I use Instant Ocean, which is cheap in bulk, and a refractometer to check salinity. Also, DIY rock structures with dry rock and epoxy cut decor costs. What's your current salt mix?
