Re: identifying a mysterious fish species

That tank in picture #2 is awesome, right? Did your friend actually build it or was it something you found, pretty unique setup.

Re: help for a sick betta

Your Betta's symptoms do seem to point towards fin rot and possibly a swim bladder issue. Fin rot often stems from poor water quality, so I'd recommend doing 50% water changes daily for about a week or until you notice an improvement.

I'm curious about the bloodworms you're feeding him - are they ...

I think @gripit may have some more insight to share on this, and I'd love to hear their thoughts on the matter, especially considering my tank size and water parameters.

Re: favorite tail types and color patterns?

I absolutely adore either super delta or dumbo ear fin tanks with that gorgeous purple, red, and white coloration. Or, a Crown tail with the stunning mustard gas color is just as amazing. I'm also a huge fan of halfmoon dumbo ear fin tanks - the possibilities are endless. Kudos to you, FinFan, for ...

Re: A bubble nest has formed

That's fantastic news about Saturn's bubble nest. I completely get how pets can be a huge stress reliever - I've definitely found that with my own fish too.

As for the bubble nest, that's a great sign, but you'll want to make sure the water quality ...

@oceanway, 5 males, huh. Pointed fins, that's a good call.
