Re: keeping baby kribensis

Just a gentle update, I'm keeping a close eye on the little family.

keeping baby kribensis

My little kribs have started a family, it's chaos in the tank.

The parents are on high alert, guarding the babies from anything that comes near - I've counted around 12-15 of them so far.

No breeding trap for them just yet, I could try to coax them in with the sipLion, but they seem pretty safe ...

My larger tank is a 225 litre setup, and the smaller one is 60 litres.

kribs that are naughty

I've got a pair of kribs, and since they mated, the male's been acting really protective - but not of fry, of the food itself. He's aggressive and territorial whenever I add food, chasing other fish away from it, no matter where it is in the tank.

I'm pretty sure it's not about eggs, since the ...

Unfortunately not - we ended up covering it with a fluxeon stone for now. Thanks so much, I'm absolutely loving this tank

Re: A new planted tank setup

I'm super stoked to share the plant lineup for my new 65 gal angel tank - we've got cryptocoryne sp., nurii, and Java fern "needle leaf" to add some greenery, plus water sprite for extra texture. The crypts are represented by balansae, and I've got three varieties of Anubis: nana "wavy", barteri ...

A new planted tank setup

I've been sharing updates on my brand new 65 gal tank (angels will come later, still in the cycling phase)... super stoked to share the plant progress now. Just got everything planted and I'm thrilled to see 2 new leaves on the Anubis already!!! Attached are the final planted pics (pre-growth ...
