Re: Quick question
Thanks for the tips. My photoperiod is 8 hours, and nitrates are around 10 ppm. The Anubias are glued to driftwood, not buried. Should I cut back the lighting?

Quick question
My Anubias leaves are turning yellow. I've had them for three months in a 20-gallon tank with LED lighting, weekly water changes, and Seachem Flourish. What's going on?

Re: best substrate for coral tanks
Don't forget grain size matters too. Too fine, and it'll blow around. Too coarse, and it's hard to plant stuff if you want macros. I use Special Grade Reef Sand, and it's been chill.

Changing color in octospawn corals
I've noticed my branching octo's tips changing from green to purple. Is this a normal thing? The coral's extension looks great during the day, but this pic is from evening ramp down.
Does this look like a healthy octo to you guys?
I'm new to corals and just want to make sure they do well.

Re: Lepto tissue decay in corals
Thanks for the advice, ravenoak - really appreciate the input on the placement. Low light and low flow seems to be the way to go, I'll have to try that.

Lepto tissue decay in corals
I recently acquired a Jason Fox Jack O Lantern Lepto frag from a fellow reefer and it's developed some blackness along one side, which I'm assuming is tissue decay. I'd like to know what steps I can take to address this issue.
