Update: Did the 50% change. Betta's fine, shrimp are hiding but alive. Java Ferns still droopy but not worse. Substrate's Fluval Stratum. Normally dose once a week, half cap. Gonna use a syringe from now on, luckydug.

Thanks, doing the water change now. pH is 7.2, temp 78°F. Added double dose by accident.

Oops, my mistake

Accidentally overdosed my 20 gallon with Seachem Flourish. It's been 24 hours, and my Java Ferns look wilted. Should I do a big water change or let it ride? Tank has 6 Neon Tetras, 3 Amano Shrimp, and a Betta. Parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrate.

I'm from Aus too, and I've had a great experience with river sand from Bunnings. After giving it a good wash, it leaves behind these gorgeous, natural-looking grains that I think would be perfect for a planted tank. The fact that it's been polished by currents, just like ocean sand, gives it a ...
