I've got a concern with my mbuna, it's losing its color. Could diatom attach to a fish? He's looking kinda brownish now. I'm feeding cichlid pellets, wondering if that's the issue.

75 gallon tank, lost those two but now I have peacock cichlids.

If I separate the Convict babies from the rest of the tank, would the parents calm down and stop picking on the other fish? Losing them is getting old.

Got another one with same issue on its side, isolated it too. I'm pretty sure the Convict Cichlids are the ones causing this, they're a pretty aggressive pair.

I had the same setup, ended up rehoming my mbuna, he took out 2 of my peacocks.
