I've been watching my tank and it seems the Goby's the only one with a territory - he's got his little cave and chases Hellie away whenever he comes near, quite funny to watch, actually.
I do still like the idea of the Flameback or Pygmy, but I could always go back to thinking about a Kaudern's ...

Re: new fish additions
Been having a look around and I'm curious about the Pygmy Angelfish, the Cherub one. Had any experience with these? Similar colours to the Flameback but a bit smaller, which got me thinking maybe I could squeeze in another small fish, but you guys know better than me.

Re: new fish additions
I'll look into the Flameback Angelfish then, think that'll be my limit for fish. Would've liked one more but gotta resist.
Thanks for all the help, fingers crossed the LFS in Coventry will be good and I might have a new addition to show soon.

Re: new fish additions
I'm well aware I've got limitations with the type of fish I can keep, knew that before buying the tank. The Flameback Angelfish has caught my eye, and according to Live Aquaria's compatibility chart, it should get on with my current lot. Will be visiting a new LFS in Coventry on Saturday, so I'll ...

Re: new fish additions
You'll likely have space for one more fish, provided you keep up with regular maintenance. However, I'd advise against adding more gobies if you're looking for open water swimmers - they tend to prefer perching between rocks, especially without Acropora in the tank.
The Flame Angel might be a bit ...

Re: new fish additions
I'll start digging into some research. The flame angel does seem a bit too big for my tank, I had a feeling that might be the case. I like the idea of having something for every level of the tank, even though it's not massive, I think it'll create a nice visual effect. Any other suggestions are more ...

new fish additions
Hi all, I've got an Orca 550 tank with 2 common clowns, a Flame Hawkfish, and a sulphur goby. I'm thinking of adding another fish, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea - I'm guessing two might be a stretch. The options I'm considering are:

Re: maroon clowns with yellow banded clowns
Apologies for jumping in, seems to be a bit of a trend on this thread. I'm keen to get my clowns hosting, but my tank's a tad too small for a standard nem - are there dwarf varieties available? If not, what other hosting options would you recommend? My two clowns have definitely paired up, and it'd ...

Re: Removing chalice corals from glass
Box cutter blades are a lifesaver for stuck corals. They're essentially a thin razor that can be carefully slid under the coral. If you're patient and move slowly, you might be able to get under a good chunk of it and pry it loose. Don't hold your breath about getting it off in one piece though ...
