That sounds intense. Maybe I'll stick to CoralRx for now, lol.tidecatcher wrote: ↑Sun Apr 20, 2025 10:05 am Bayer can work, but you gotta be precise. I use it at 5ml per gallon for 10 minutes, then triple rinse in tank water. It's brutal on AEFW and red bugs, but yeah, one wrong move and you're toast. Not for beginners.

Re: Coral Dip Recommendations
Anyone tried Bayer Advanced? Heard it's killer for pests but sketchy if you don't dilute it right. I'm too scared to mess with it, but curious if anyone's had success.

Re: New ideas for fish
whenever the firtideflow comes out of the rocks, the clowns just go for it - they don't care where it is in the tank, they'll attack it.

New ideas for fish
Hi, I've just got a firtideflow that's probably gonna have to go back if my clownfish keep being aggressive towards it. I don't want the poor thing to get hurt. Can anyone recommend some semi-aggressive fish that'll be okay with my clowns if they start picking on them? My tank's 15 gallons.

Re: need assistance with fish feeding
hopefully the cardinal will take to the mysis straight off. i was told that's the stuff to get them onto frozen foods, but not entirely sure if that's the case.

Honestly, my frags don't live up to the pics on Jfox's site. They're pretty meh in person, if you want my opinion. Zeno4's pics are more accurate, mine looks similar to his.

seeking bangaii cardinal advice
I'm about 4-6 weeks away from getting a new fish.
I've got a soft spot for bangaii cardinal fish, and I've already got one in my 60l nano - it's the only fish in there at the moment. I'm thinking of getting another one, and they'll be the only two fish in the tank. Looking at pics of bangaii pairs ...

Re: keeping cleaner shrimp
I had a similar issue with my cleaner shrimp, they both kicked the bucket within 24 hours of each other after 6 months in the tank. Got some advice and it seemed like low iodine levels were the culprit, they couldn't shed and that's what did 'em in. Maybe you're dealing with the same thing?

Can anyone spot AEFW in the dip water?
