Re: is my aquarium experiencing health issues
I'd keep a close eye on them for the next couple of days, just to be safe. In the meantime, I'd do 10-15% water changes to see if that helps. If things don't improve, I think it's worth trying a general cure for illness - you can find something like that at the LFS, Petsmart, or online at Dr Foster ...

Re: is my aquarium experiencing health issues
I just set up a new canister filter for my 125 gallon tank, it's rated for 175 gallons. My cichlids are acting really weird now. Three of them keep swimming down to the ground, turning on their side and running along the substrate. This has been going on for a week and I'm getting worried. I've ...

Best way to mount coral frags
I've been struggling to get my frags to stay put in my 75-gallon mixed reef. Tried super glue gel but they keep detaching after a few days. What's the most reliable method you've used?

Re: creating a cichlid cave environment
Considering the cichlids, I'm wondering if a specific rock type would be more suitable. Maybe anubias would work well too. I'm thinking of getting lava rocks and stacking them at the back, letting them settle naturally. Between slate and granite, which one's better? I've already checked the local ...

Re: Help with cichlids
I'm converting my 65 gallon tank to cichlids and was advised to add a bunch at once, but I'm holding off till I get the buffer and Malawi salt in. It used to be freshwater, but it's cycled now and I'm ready for the switch. Thing is, I was told to buy them all at the same time so they don't ...
