For real, some LFS employees just wing it. My Montis didn't take off till I hit 60% on my budget lights. 25-gallon cube, 8.2 alk, 410 calc, 4 nitrates. Now they're spreading like weeds. Don't be afraid to experiment a little.

Montis are chill but fussy. My digis hated my Kessils at first, now they're vibing at 65%, 8 hours. 20-gallon nano, 8.1 alk, 400 calc, 2 nitrates. Maybe cut the blue a smidge if they're looking washed out? Mine perked up when I dialed back the violets.
