I do a hybrid thing. Float for temp, then pour into a bucket with tank water over 15 mins. No drips, just gradual mixing. Works for my Zoas and Acans. Lighting's key though—start 'em low, like 30% intensity, then ramp up over a week.

Another thing to watch is plant decay. Dead leaves = snail buffet. I trim my plants weekly to keep things tidy.

Yep, overfeeding's the main culprit. I switched to sinking pellets instead of flakes, so less food hits the substrate. Also, manual removal with a snail trap works if you're consistent. Got a DIY one with a soda bottle and lettuce.
