No bio pellets, just live rock and the skimmer. Appreciate all the tips, folks. Gonna test alk, tweak the flow, and maybe switch salt mixes if this persists.

Thanks for the input. I've got a mix of Zoas, Hammers, and the Acros. Gonna test alk tonight and maybe up the water changes to 15%.

nitrate levels for coral health
What's the ideal nitrate range for keeping Acropora thriving? My tank's sitting at 15 ppm, but I've heard mixed opinions on whether that's too high. Running a 75-gallon with T5 lighting, weekly 10% water changes, and a protein skimmer.

I've had success with smaller food particles. Try blending the mysis or using something like Reef Chili. Favias sometimes ignore larger chunks if they're not in the mood.

Favias can be picky. What's your lighting like? Too much or too little can mess with their feeding. Also, try turning off the flow for a bit when you feed. Mine perks up when the water's calm.
