I've heard UV sterilizers can help with color. Anyone try that? My tank's too small for one, but I'm curious.

I'd imagine the tank size would need to be enormous, thousands of gallons or more. I've only ever come across Red Tail Barrapyrope in freshwater setups before, never thought they'd be available for sale.

I'm still trying to figure out what triggered this whole thing - anyone have any ideas on what starts brown jelly growth?

I'm curious about the iodine dip - do I mix it with water or use it straight from the bottle? Also, is it something I can find at a local reef store or would I need to check a pharmacy?

I'm worried about the spread - is there a way to contain this in the tank? From what I've read, it's either remove the coral or quarantine and treat. How can I prevent it from infecting any new additions?
