Re: A discussion about the maison reef zebra.

Stunning fish, love the black fins on him. Shame we can't get ones like that here in Austflakeia.

Re: Cooling fan for 20-gallon high tank

Yep, fans are a game-changer. I rigged up a cheap desk fan with some zip ties, and it's been chillin' my tank for months. Just gotta watch the water level, like everyone's saying. You might wanna bump up your top-offs to every other day.

Re: Best way to mount coral frags

Anyone tried the magnetic frag mounts? I've been curious but worried they'll rust or mess with the tank's vibe.

Re: kris' interactions with other africans

Although not recommended, I've actually got a large Krib living with my Malawis. He's a bit of a special case, really - was causing chaos in my mum's tank, so I took him in. I'm aware of the water differences, but he's already adapted to hard water. The Johanni's keep him in check, and he's learned ...

Re: Seachem Paraguard usage

Thanks for the advice, everyone. Temp is at 78F, no carbon in the filter. I'll try a 20% water change and halve the dose. They're still eating, just not as active.

Seachem Paraguard usage

I've been using Seachem Paraguard for a week now in my 20 gallon tank with Guppies and Neon Tetras. The fish seem a bit stressed, fins clamped. Should I cut the dose or keep going? Water params are good, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrate.

Re: identifying the objects

I've had a run-in with goldenly cichlids in my 110G tank, let's just say they can be quite aggressive, something to keep on your radar.

Re: my 420-liter and 110-gallon aquarium

I appreciate the feedback, it means a lot. I was going for a darker vibe in the tank, it seems to be working well for my Frontosa, he's really thriving with the new caves.

Thanks for the kind words, sorathor - it's great to finally see my vision come to life in the tank.

He's indeed a beauty. Any thoughts on the tank? Improvements?

Re: my 420-liter and 110-gallon aquarium

That's my boy. He's a real stunner. I'd love to find some more like him, they'd make a great addition to the tank.
