Re: Rescued guppy with fin nips and lethargic corys
Guppy's color looks okay, just the fins are rough. I'll try the garlic pellets and keep monitoring. Thanks again, everyone.

Re: Rescued guppy with fin nips and lethargic corys
Thanks for the tips, everyone. I'll check the oxygen and add some almond leaves. Substrate is sand, so that shouldn't be the issue. Gonna keep an eye on the guppy's behavior.

Rescued guppy with fin nips and lethargic corys
Just rescued a guppy with some nasty fin nips, and my corys are acting super lethargic. Tank is a 20 gallon, parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrate. Temp is 78F, running a sponge filter and a HOB. Any ideas what's up with them?

Re: alkalinity for SPS dominance
My tank's smaller (40g), but I had the same slump. Upped alk to 9.5 and growth exploded. Might be worth a slow creep up. Also, what's your flow like? SPS dig random chaotic movement—I added a Nero 5 and they perked right up.

Re: Candy cane coral
It's great to see progress like this. More before and after photos, especially ones showing growth over time, would be really helpful.

Re: about the clown fish
Sounds like a great plan, looking forward to seeing it come together. What tank are you going with and how much did it set you back?
