Re: enhance your aquarium with these creative tank decoration ideas
I think adding some greenery to the driftwood would really make it pop, something like java moss or anubias would look great. For rocks, slate is another good option, especially if you have it readily available in your area. Just make sure to clean it up and get rid of any sharp corners. One of the ...

Can guppies coexist with cherry shrimp?
I'm curious about guppies and cherry shrimp - do they get along in the same tank? I've got a pretty heavily planted setup, would that help if they do eat them?

Re: Controlling algae in your aquarium
I've had some experience using a non-electric toothbrush for those tight spots in my tank. @barnicle's right though, for a 300l you'll need something with a bit more size to it - I was only working with 5 gallons and it took ages to get everything clean with a regular toothbrush.

Re: meeting dolphins in vanuatu with oscar?
It really depends on your water parameters, but personally, I think a combination of a pleco and a few convict cichlids would work better. Convicts can definitely hold their own if the Oscar decides to get aggressive, whereas keyhole cichlids are a bit more timid and might end up getting bullied.

Re: Finding suitable tank mates for a betta in a 5-gallon aquarium
Given his behavior with the mystery snail, I'd advise against introducing any other tank mates. He's shown aggression, and it's best not to risk stressing him or any potential new additions.

I'm not familiar with those websites, but personally, I've had great experiences buying from my local fish store or ones in nearby towns - I think that's the best option, at least for me.
