Yep, 86°F is too toasty. My crew hangs at 83°F, and they're solid. You got a backup thermometer to double-check? Those digital ones can be wonky. Also, what's your tank's flow like? High flow + high heat = stressed fish.

I'd also check the wattage. Two 200W might be overkill for 75 gallons unless your room's really cold. What's your ambient temp?

I'd double-check the water temp. Even a slight drop can mess with their digestion. Also, what's your lighting schedule like? Too much or too little light can throw them off. Mine are picky about that stuff.

My 60g seems okay for 5 Discus, but I'm new to this. They're about 4 inches now, and I do 25% water changes every 5 days. Using a Seachem Tidal filter, temp at 83F, and have some Java ferns. Not sure if I should upgrade soon. They're eating well but sometimes hide when I approach.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I'll probably hold off for now and maybe try a single Angel later. Don't wanna stress my Discus out.
