Who Gives A Fish Forums

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it - cichlids are definitely a long-term goal for me, maybe one day I'll have a bigger tank and be able to give them the space they need.

Hi, been looking into getting a pair of kribensis, hoping to get a breeding pair.
I've got a 64l tank and was wondering what other fish would be suitable to keep with them. I'd love to have some kind of schooling fish in there as well, to create a nice display.
I was thinking maybe false harlequin ...

I've had this happen when my tank was too clean. Corals need some nitrates and phosphates to thrive. Maybe ease up on the skimmer if you're running it 24/7. Let the system find a balance.
