It's possible the tankmates could be the issue, especially if you have some aggressive feeders in there, or even if your other fish are on the larger side, that could be causing some problems for your puffer.

I managed to get the slime off, but now it's coming back. Should I frag what's left and get rid of the infected part? I'm also worried - can this slime infect my other LPS corals?

Brown jelly disease in corals
I just got home and my torch heads are pretty much gone - they're all shrunk up and covered in this weird brown slime, so I'm guessing it's some kind of disease. Here's a picture, can someone take a look and let me know if it's salvageable? If there's a way to save it, what's the best course of ...

I've had my fair share of marine fish, I've got a 29 gallon tank with a Picasso trigger, blue damsel, and a Valentini puffer.
