If you're near any natural water sources, you can collect driftwood or rocks. Just boil 'em for 20 minutes to sterilize. I've used river rocks and spider wood in my tanks for years. Looks way more natural than store-bought stuff.

Hey, just got my first betta on Saturday. I tried giving him bloodworms for the first time today but he's not having it - won't eat them. Got aqua substrate and plants in the tank, should I take the bloodworms out?
