Thanks for the input, everyone. Gonna try adding more plants and bumping water changes to twice weekly. Appreciate the tips!

I've heard mixed things about nitrates and Discus. My tank sits around 20 ppm, but I'm worried it's too high. Anyone run theirs higher without issues? I do 50% water changes weekly, use a Fluval 407, and keep them at 84°F with sand substrate.

My tank cycled in three weeks. Used Seachem Stability and fed the filter with pure ammonia. Worked fine.

I'm actually close to Newark Airport and have been on a break from the hobby as well. Once I get my tanks up and running, I'd be happy to help facilitate a shipment.
