Re: best plants for a Shrimp tank
Super glue gel is the way to go, imo. No fuss, no muss. Just glue it and forget it. My shrimp tank's got Anubias glued to all the hardscape, and it looks dope. Plus, the shrimp love climbing all over it.

Re: best plants for a Shrimp tank
Yo, don't forget about Subwassertang! It's like Java Moss's cooler cousin. Shrimp go nuts for it, and it's easy to grow. I've got it in my 10 gallon with some Red Cherry Shrimp, and they're always hanging out in it. Tank's got a sponge filter and LED lights for 7 hours.

Re: What Plants Can Handle Brackish Water?
Thanks for all the suggestions, everyone. I'll start with Java Fern and Anubias and see how they do. Appreciate the help!

What Plants Can Handle Brackish Water?
I've been thinking about setting up a brackish tank, but I'm not sure which plants can handle the salt. Anyone got experience with this? I've heard Java Fern might work, but I'm not sure about others.

Improving topsoil quality and composition
I've got a bunch of Westland topsoil lying around, and I'm thinking of using it in my aquarium. Has anyone else used this stuff? It seems like a waste to just let it sit there when I could be using it instead of buying something new.

Fungi-like growth on anubias
I've had this weird fungus-like growth on my anubias for a month or two now, and I'm stumped. Can anyone tell me what it might be and how I can get rid of it?
It's a pretty standard red cherry and snail setup, not sure if that affects the treatment options though.
