Re: Maroon clown information
Will they do this even when they're the only clownfish in the tank, or is it a behavior triggered by having a mate or other clowns nearby?

Re: Maroon clown information
Yeah the coflake's fine, don't get it though, why it's trying to get rid of it all of a sudden, been there as long as the clown has, about 6 months.
Had an idea today, took the coflake out to make a frag before all this started, polyps closed up, looked totally different, put it back, maybe the ...

Maroon clown information
I got home about 2 days ago and found my clove coflake on the tank floor, about 30cm below its usual spot on the rock. I put it back, no big deal, but then I walked away and came back to find it on the floor again. I thought, 'How odd', so I picked it up and put it back on the rock.

Re: spotlight on the rabbitfish
One spot foxface rabbitfish - truly a gem in my aquarium.
I must say, this fish has proven to be a real trooper. It's coped with the initial introduction to the tank seamlessly, and even when disaster struck in the form of a disease outbreak, it came out unscathed.

Rixon, might be an idea to start a new thread about the damsel giving your new tang a hard time, see if anyone can offer some advice.

Re: local fish stocking information
For yellows in a group, I'd say 5 is the minimum, personally. Two or three just isn't gonna cut it - one's gonna end up bullying the other, and I've seen it time and time again. Only person I know who's had success with a group of tangs is, well, me. I've got a 107 US gallon tank with 5 yellows in ...

information about sixline wrasse
Just got a new coflake beauty angel and my sixline wrasse is doing something weird - it's cleaning it like a cleaner wrasse. Never seen it do this with my other fish, probably coz they keep their distance. Anyone know if sixlines sometimes do this 'cleaning' thing with other fish?

Re: Minnow care guide
Yep, more buddies and a bit warmer should do the trick. Also, if you're using a hang-on-back filter, the flow might be too strong. These guys prefer calmer water.

Re: Minnow care guide
White Clouds are usually pretty hardy, but they can get spooked if the tank's too open. Try adding some floating plants or taller decor to break up sightlines. Also, what's your lighting like? Bright lights can freak 'em out.

Re: counting fish in the aquarium
It depends on the duration they'll be in the tank for, I think.
If they're in there long enough to start changing into adults, that's when issues may start to arise.
Provided they're all introduced at the same time, fed well and not in there for too long, I don't see it being a major problem.
