Re: coral dip: which one works best?
I've been using Coral RX for a while, but my Zoanthids still get pests. Anyone got a better dip that actually cuts it? My tank's a 40-gallon with T5 lighting, and I do weekly 10% water changes.
Try Bayer Advanced. It's sketchy to use at first, but it nukes everything. Just rinse well after ...

Re: coral dip: which one works best?
I've had good luck with Revive. It's gentle but gets the job done. My Acros and LPS haven't shown any stress after dipping. What's your water flow like? High flow might help rinse off pests better.

Re: Feeding schedule for brain corals
I've had good luck feeding mine every 4 days. They seem to like smaller portions more often. What's your phosphate level? High phosphates can mess with their appetite.

Don't take the fish store's word for it. I've been down that road, and trust me, it's not worth the trouble.

I think adding some Water Sprite would be a great idea, it's a fantastic floating plant that's easy to care for. I also agree with willie32, more hardscape could really enhance the tank's visual appeal, particularly if you can find some pieces that create height and add depth to the layout.

Why is my dwarf sag turning yellow?
My dwarf sag's turning yellow and melting.
I've got it planted in quikrete pfs with flourish root tabs.
I'm thinking low iron might be the issue, but should I add more tabs?
They don't use liquid ferts, right?
Any other ideas what's going on here?

Re: Growing black tubers on a banana lily
I know this is a very late reply.
The black color of the tubers doesn't seem to be a cause for concern, especially if the plant's roots are receiving enough nutrients. It's possible that the roots are taking over and the tubers are slowly breaking down as a result. I've noticed this in other ...
