Re: Discus tank biofilm concerns
Biofilm can pop up if there's too much organic waste or low surface agitation. What's your feeding routine? Overfeeding might be the culprit. Also, check if your filter outflow is strong enough to break the surface tension.

plants that don't need much care
Looking for some easy plants that can survive my neglect. My tank's got low light, no CO2, and I forget water changes sometimes. What's the toughest stuff out there?

Re: ideal temp for discus comfort
Temp's one thing, but don't ignore tankmates. My discus were stressed until I removed the angelfish. Now it's just them and some tetras in the 75 gallon, temp at 84°F. They're way more relaxed.

Re: MALE or FEMALE
It seems like sexing discus is quite the challenge. I was mistaken in thinking the tube could give us a clear answer. Would you mind sharing what led you to believe the white pigeon might be a female?

MALE or FEMALE
Hi everyone,
I'm new here and hoping for some assistance. I have 2 discus, both around 6" and 18 months old, and I'm trying to determine their sex. I've attached some photos for your reference.
Thanks for your help in advance.
