I'm attached to my male as he's a stunning specimen, wouldn't want to see him go.

I got a male and female krib 6 months ago, hoping they'd pair up by now but that hasn't happened.

The female's been showing off to the male, but he just doesn't seem interested. I've got plenty of caves for them to breed in, so that's not the issue.

My betta tank's in a colder room, so I went with the Eheim Jager 75W. Overkill for 5 gallons, but it's reliable. Just gotta dial it in right.

anyone know if there's a cichlid species that can thrive in brackish water?

got a 250L tank with a few fish,
2 Pearl gourami's
7 penguin tetra
4 swortail
1 fire mouth cichlid
1 earth-eater cichlid
and 1 feather-fin catfish

thinking of adding a pair of krib cichlids and wondering if they'll work in this tank
also, how the pearl gourami's will get along with ...
