Re: Plants for a Tall Aquarium
Yeah, Bacopa's a drama queen when you first plant it. Once it settles in, though, it's solid. I'd also throw in some Amazon Swords if you want broader leaves. They'll grow tall if you give 'em space and nutrients.

Yep, stem plants are the way to go. I've had luck with Bacopa Caroliniana in my tall tank. It's chill with moderate light and doesn't need CO2. Just make sure your ferts have enough iron, or the leaves might yellow.

Re: Feeding acanthastrea corals
I'm not convinced that's a feeding response, to be honest. The polyps look pretty retracted, and you can see the skeleton between them, which doesn't suggest happiness to me. When they're feeding, the polyps usually puff up and the tentacles come out. I think what's happening here is the coral's ...

Re: Yellow flatworms in the reef tank
I don't think it's a case of the coral being at war with its neighbors, I believe those yellow spots are more of a stress response. When the coral's not in optimal health or has just been moved, it can cause this reaction. Once you get it feeding properly, I'm pretty sure they'll go away.
