Xenia's a beast once it gets going. I had the same issue in my 120-gallon. You gotta cut it back manually, but be careful—it'll slime up and mess with your water quality if you're not quick. best beginner plants for hard water
I've got hard water with a pH around 8.0 and need some easy plants that won't melt or struggle. What's worked for you guys? My tank is a 20-gallon with moderate lighting and sand substrate.

I think tank size plays a big role in all this. A breeding pair of kribs can be a real treat, but they do get pretty feisty when they spawn.
