Yeah, trimming is key. It can get leggy if you don't keep up with it.

Re: what's your favorite carpet plant?
For a 20 gallon, I'd recommend Pearlweed. It's versatile, can be a carpet or a bush, and grows well in most conditions. Just needs regular trimming.

Re: setting up my 75 gallon tank
An emperor angelfish in a 75 gallon, really? I'm considering one too, but I'm not sure if it's the best fit. No reef for me either, so that's not a concern. I've also got my eye on crowned toby puffers and warthead anglers - they seem like great additions.

Any other suggestions would be great, I want to add a few more fish to the ...

Re: Three duncans with unique appearances
Duncans have won me over so far. They're visually stunning, add movement to the tank, and aren't aggressive. Plus, they're fun to feed and seem pretty chill about everything. I've got three now, and despite there supposedly being only one type, I'm finding they can look pretty different - kinda ...

Re: Three duncans with unique appearances
I'm really drawn to the pink ones, there's something about the way the green pops on the ends of the tentacles. I've had my own purple duncan colony for a couple of years now, and it's amazing how well they thrive - I got it back when everyone thought duncans only came in one color, so it's been ...
