My pH was all over till I stopped using RO. Now I mix tap and RO, 50/50. Works great.

That's genius. My guy's in a 3 gallon (upgrading soon, I know), and I'm always second-guessing if I fed him. Might steal that idea.

It's got some characteristics of a mollusk, possibly a type of oyster or clam, but the soft sides and movement are throwing me off.
