If you're dosing kalkwasser, drip it slowly at night. pH naturally dips after lights out, so timing matters. Also, avoid overstocking fish—more bioload means more CO2.

How's your surface agitation? Low flow at the top can cause CO2 buildup, leading to pH drops. Try pointing a powerhead upward or running an air stone at night.

For soft corals like Zoanthids, I've had good luck with a quick peroxide dip. 3% solution for 30 seconds, then rinse. Kills algae and pests without nuking the coral. Not for SPS though, they'll melt.
