Let us know what the test results say. If ammonia's high, you might need to add some beneficial bacteria to speed up the cycle.

Cloudy water usually means a bacterial bloom, which happens when the bio load's too high. Test your ammonia and nitrite levels ASAP. If they're high, you'll need to do more frequent water changes.

Thanks so much for the advice, I really appreciate it. I'll definitely start treating the water with salt right away - I'll make sure to add it slowly and carefully to avoid stressing Jellybean out. I'll also keep a close eye on her fins to see how they're healing, and if I notice anything getting ...
