Controlling brown algae for happy fish

Just finished a major deep clean and done a couple weeks of 70% water changes, things are looking way better now. Plants still got a bit of gunk on 'em but it's livable. The ladies seem to be enjoying it, even with me upping their feeds, tank's been steady as a rock.

Pic below's what it looked ...

Are these detritus worms a specific type of species or is there a more general term

My wife discovered these on her swordtail tank, and water parameters are all within normal range, temp's at 77 degrees - are these detritus worms?

best algae eaters for tanks with bichir

My tank's dealing with some diatoms/brown algae, I'm aware there's multiple reasons for it and I'm on top of maintenance. Adding more plants is the plan, and I've also been considering getting an algae eater, maybe a pleco. I know they don't mix well with bichir - how bad is it really if they're in ...

Sword tails , painted platty , red wagtail platty

Keeping betta with live bearers

So my wife surprised me with this betta a few months back when I sent her to the fish store for some api products. She bought him/her with a 1gal semi aquatic plant grow tank (I have pictures below) I’ve done my best to make it as comfortable as I can (heater , light , water changes every few days ...

Choosing the right gourami: male or female

I just passed on my old tank to my buddy and now he's all set to start breeding dwarf gourami. He's already got one, and I'm fairly certain it's a female, but I want to confirm before giving him the green light to get a mate - don't wanna have him bringing home the wrong one.

Re: disappointing experience with fish delivery

I hope Allie pulls through, that's quite a rough start for her. I'm a bit surprised the courier didn't notify you that the package was left behind the trash can - don't they usually send a heads up when they're about to deliver?

I've ordered from them before, they've always been good, so I'm ...
