Exactly. It's about finding that sweet spot. My tank's at 9 ppm, and the Discus are coloring up nicely.

I've got a 10 gallon tank with a betta and some Java Moss. The moss isn't growing as fast as I expected. Water params are good, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrate. Light is on for 8 hours a day. Any tips?

I'm a bit unsure about his rounded anal fin - is that normal? And what about his curled ventflake fins, any thoughts? Would love to hear from established breeders and enthusiasts, any opinion is welcomed.
