I feed all my Bettas twice a day - 3 pellets in the morning and 2 at night. Yep, that describes every Betta, young or old - they're pigs when it comes to food and are shameless beggars. Your little Boris is perfectly normal, I worry if one of my Bettas isn't begging for food.

That's duckweed, Lyuba. Grows incredibly fast, barely any effort needed. It'll cover the top of your tank in no time. Looks nice, in my opinion.

I've got a good balance of floating plants in my tank, some might say I've overdone it but I think I've got it just right.


I've been out of commission for a while, got sick and didn't do much with my tank. Just fed my shrimps and betta, that's it. Didn't get around to making that filter ...

Hi, I recently got some sevenflake shrimps and they came with these interesting little plants - I think they might be some sort of floating plant.
